How an issue earns a label
- Official: named by Game Freak, Fictions, Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation in a first-party notice.
- Reproduced report: independently reported with matching platform, version, and steps.
- Unverified: too little context, only one report, or no stable reproduction path.
- Resolved: the official patch note names the fix and the page records the affected version.
Before reporting a bug
Include the platform, game version, save context, hardware and driver on PC, input device, exact steps, expected result, actual result, and whether the problem survives a restart. Screenshots or a short clip are more useful than a description without timing.
Launch-week caution
Do not install unofficial executables, DLL replacements, or “performance patches” from an unknown source. A widely repeated workaround can still be unsafe or obsolete. Prefer reversible settings, official updates, and vendor driver releases.
Why this page may look sparse
A short source ledger is better than a long synthetic changelog. We will add versioned entries when an official notice can be linked directly and when its platform scope is clear.
